Our purpose - with you today, for a better tomorrow - is a promise we make to our colleagues too. And one of the ways we live up to that promise is by investing in you. We have so much to offer when it comes to being an Aviva colleague.
This is a great job for someone who loves working with technology and enjoys helping colleagues solve their IT issues.
If you're someone who prides yourself on great customer service, thrives in a hands-on tech environment, and likes to make things work better for people, this could be your next step.
You'll join our friendly Onsite Support IT team, helping colleagues across the Bristol office stay connected and productive.
You'll provide 1st and 2nd line deskside support, solving technical problems, getting people back up and running, and keeping our IT services running smoothly.
You'll work closely with other technology teams too, helping us deliver brilliant support across Aviva.
There may also be the occasional need to support colleagues at other Aviva sites.
Location: Bristol
This is a full time, onsite role and you'll be working in the Bristol office Monday to Friday with occasional travel to other offices.
We flex locations, hours and working patterns to suit our customers, business, and you. Most of our people are smart working - spending around 50% of their time in our offices every week - combining the benefits of flexibility, with time together with colleagues.
We'll contact you
With a recruiter
Once you've applied, or Aviva has found you on LinkedIn, a recruiter gets in touch to discuss your application and the specific opportunity in more detail.
We'll send a test
If you're successful at the first stage, you're invited to the next stage of the process, which could be an online test or interview. If you're unsuccessful, you're told.
You'll come to interview
Aviva agrees an interview date and time. The interview may be a one-to-one meeting or a group assessment; there may be more than one stage to this part of the process.
We'll make an offer
You'll complete screening checks · 1–2 days
You can stay in touch
With Candidate Care team
Once PES checks pass, candidates receive a 'confirmation of start date' email and can ask the Candidate Care team questions before their first day.
We'd love it if you could submit your application online. If you require an alternative method of applying, please give Amber Britton a call on 07775546100 or send an email to amber.britton@aviva.com
We're inclusive and welcome everyone - we want applications from all backgrounds and experiences. Excited but not sure you tick every box? Even if you don't, we would still encourage you to apply. We also consider all forms of flexible working, including part time and job shares.
