Nice to have
Our purpose - with you today, for a better tomorrow - is a promise we make to our colleagues too. And one of the ways we live up to that promise is by investing in you. We have so much to offer when it comes to being an Aviva colleague.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build on their actuarial, pensions or reinsurance experience within a team that plays a critical role in supporting Aviva's growing Retirement business. Whether you're a qualified actuary, progressing through the actuarial exams, or have developed strong technical expertise through experience, this role offers the chance to work on high-profile reinsurance arrangements while developing specialist knowledge in a growing area of the market.
You'll join our Reinsurance Operations team, which is responsible for the ongoing administration and oversight of all in-force reinsurance arrangements within Aviva's Retirement business. Working closely with reinsurers, trustees and internal stakeholders, you'll support the effective operation of reinsurance agreements that help manage risk and deliver capital-efficient solutions. You'll be responsible for reviewing and analysing reinsurance data, premium calculations, accounts and collateral materials, supporting the onboarding of new transactions, and helping to enhance processes, controls and systems that underpin the team's success.
Reinsurance Actuary - Salary Competitive (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
Location: London or Norwich
Are you someone with experience in Defined Benefit pensions, annuity insurance or reinsurance administration who enjoys solving complex problems and working with large datasets?
We're inclusive and welcome everyone - we want applications from all backgrounds and experiences. Excited but not sure you tick every box? Even if you don't, we would still encourage you to apply. We also consider all forms of flexible working, including part time and job shares.
We flex locations, hours and working patterns to suit our customers, business, and you. Most of our people are smart working - spending at least 50% of their time in our offices every week - combining the benefits of flexibility, with time together with colleagues.
