The Reservations Agent is responsible for creating a seamless start to each guest’s journey.

• Co-ordinate with Finance department to make sure all pre-payments have been processed
• Coordinate with sales team and manage all communication for group bookings and maintain all calendars for hotel and inform operation staff for same
• Receive, analyse and confirm guest reservations/amendments/cancellations made for/by clients over the telephone, by email, referral networks or on-line platforms
• Manage all incoming calls for reservation department and ensure response to all queries
• Checking arrivals, making sure all details are correct and relevant correspondence is attached to ensure a smooth guest experience
• Ensure all details in the reservations are recorded within the required operating procedures and communicated clearly to the relevant departments
• Proactively follow up on all initial enquiries to convert tentative booking into definite ones
• Adhere to company credit policies to ensure all revenue expected is received.
