The role
The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring exceptional service to consistently exceed guest expectations
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the menu, including all ingredients and allergens, and communicate this confidently to guests
- Conducts pre-meal briefings (line-ups) together with Chef and Restaurant Manager
- Participates in the employee performance appraisal process, giving feedback as needed
- Supervises daily shift operations and ensures compliance with all restaurant policies, standards and procedures
- Be fully confident with cash up procedure and taking payments
- Opens and closes restaurant shifts and ensures completion of assigned shift checklist and other duties
The role

- Hotel/Restaurant experience in a managerial role
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
