The role
Cultural Collections & Galleries is part of the University Library and is responsible for caring for the University's rare books, manuscripts, archives, art, and objects. Our collections are a rich resource for staff, students, and the wider research community, and offer significant potential to share a range of diverse stories.
Our LGBTQ+ Project Internship Programme has supported a series of interns exploring LGBTQ+ representation across our collections. We now have an opportunity to support a further internship to continue this important work.
This internship will have the opportunity to develop approaches to highlighting LGBTQ+ narratives and individuals in our collections, opening access to our collections for diverse audiences, and engaging with queer theory to better understand how we can interpret identities from the past.
How you'll work
This role will be based on the university campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
