The role
Are you interested in embarking on experimental work in a range of research areas in Particle Technology? Are you a skilled experimentalist interested in characterising particle adhesion? Are you interested in using various tools and techniques for characterising the electrostatic charges on particles? Do you want to contribute to one of the UK's leading research-intensive Universities?
There are two PDRF positions with separate but complementary activities, one addressing particle adhesion and charging in cyclones and the other working on a newly developed instrument characterising charge distribution on particles. As an experienced researcher, you will further develop the Drop Test Method for particle adhesion measurement and/or characterise the charge distribution on a wide range of powders. You will also write papers on the outcome of the work and contribute to preparing grant proposals.
