Head Of Business

• Proven experience as Head of Business in a Volkswagen retail network, or in an equivalent automotive retail business.

• Leading a team using the most appropriate style; flexing to use coaching, directing, delegating, pacesetting, supporting.
• Communicate effectively and engagingly to a wide range of different audiences, using a wide range of different styles and media, including presenting to large audiences.
• Emotional intelligence; understanding yourself and others well, high awareness and behavioural management.
• Create a positive and productive climate and a sustainable, healthy culture.
• Build a feedback culture; encouraging all members of the team to seek, give and value effective feedback.
• Financial and Commercial acumen; to understand and be able to operate the KPI levers that drive business success, including revenue growth and profitability, stock/asset management, cashflow and ability to interpret Volkswagen and company management accounts (IFC).
• Computer literate, including fluency with all standard business systems and applications, plus brand-specific programs.

We are looking for an experienced Head of Business, preferably from Volkswagen retail network (or equivalent automotive retail business), to lead a team of circa 100 people and develop the business to the next level.

Salary: Competitive - Depending on experience

Head of Business Key Role & Responsibilities:

• To prioritise customer experience and ensure that a premium experience is consistently delivered, through all business operations.
• To lead the whole business to maximise performance, to deliver results, and to achieve objectives, working towards the agreed vision and executing approved strategy.
• To ensure that the business thrives and grows; safeguarding the business, the franchise and its long-term stability, sustainability and success.
• To act as an ambassador for Lloyd Motor Group, and the Volkswagen group brands and products; to live by the brand values and inspire others to follow this example.
• To prioritise employee engagement and development whilst maximising the performance delivered by the entire workforce.
• To manage the financial performance and health of the business.
• To create and maintain healthy relationships with all stakeholders of the business in order that its interests are served.
• To attend Lloyd Motor Group and Volkswagen retail network meetings and events across the UK and abroad.
