Commercial management role within Capgemini, providing ongoing Commercial and Contractual support for Projects, Programmes and Services Teams working directly with our public sector client. Account turnover circa £350m pa. The role will also provide commercial support to new client tenders/bids and work closely with the teams Ecosystem and Partner Relationship Management functions to build and maintain positive, value-creation relationships with suppliers.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business;
it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the
time.

If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including:

criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service)

Your role

Work across the business, supporting multiple complex commercial arrangements
Make a significant contribution to the structuring, review and commercial approval of new bids Change Requests, Proposals and Contract Change Notes
Lead and facilitate the development of client proposals; deals; bids and subsequent commercial negotiations
Own commercial and contract documentation and ensure currency and availability
Provide commercial management for bid work, helping to win and maintain business, drive value and mitigate risk
Work closely with legal counsel

Your skills and experience

Relevant Commercial and Contract management experience working with UK public sector or other large private sector organisations
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Proactive engagement with growing a team, creating time to support others
Resilient and able to maintain perspective under pressure
Ability to manage conflicting demands and demonstrates confidence in taking a new course of action
Familiarity with Microsoft tools e.g Outlook; Teams; Copilot
