Greater Thameslink Railway (GTR) is the UK's largest rail operator, connecting millions of people across the country through Southern, Thameslink, Great Northern and Gatwick Express services.
With 239 managed stations and a network that supports commuters, businesses and communities every day. We are driven by our purpose to deliver safe, reliable and customer focused journeys while making a positive impact on the communities we serve.
At the heart of our work is Creating Great Journeys, a vision that reflects our commitment to improving experiences for passengers, supporting local communities and investing in the future of rail. We actively engage with and support the diverse communities across our network, while also developing future talent to ensure a sustainable and thriving railway for years to come.
We're looking for an organised, commercially minded and relationship-focused individual to help drive the operational performance of our retail property portfolio.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working across multiple stakeholders, managing property operations, and ensuring high standards of compliance and customer experience across a diverse estate.
As Commercial Property Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day management of GTR's commercial property portfolio, acting as the key link between tenants, station teams, facilities management and commercial colleagues.
You'll oversee compliance processes, tenant relationships, lease administration, operational reporting, maintenance tracking and governance activities, ensuring our retail estate remains safe, compliant and commercially effective.
While this is a hybrid role, successful candidates should expect to spend a minimum of three days per week on-site across our station portfolio, working directly with tenants and operational teams.
We aim to provide a fair, transparent and engaging recruitment experience. This is what you can expect from our process.
We will keep candidates informed throughout the process and aim to complete hiring decisions in a timely manner. Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we are unfortunately unable to provide individual feedback at the application stage.
How to Apply
Please complete the application form and submit your CV.
We look forward to hearing from you and exploring whether GTR could be your next career step.
Please note that we reserve the right to close this vacancy earlier than the advertised closing date if we receive a high volume of suitable applications.
