Sales Assistant

We are looking for a Sales Assistant to join our supermarket team. You will be responsible for serving customers at the till and on the shop floor, stocking and replenishing shelves, keeping the store clean, tidy and well presented, handling cash and card payments accurately, and helping customers find products and answering their queries. You will also assist with receiving deliveries and checking stock, ensuring a friendly and efficient shopping experience for every customer.

• Previous experience in retail or a supermarket environment (desirable)
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable handling cash and using a till or point-of-sale system
• Ability to lift and move stock and work on your feet for long periods
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Reliable, punctual and a good team player
• Flexible to work shifts, including weekends
• Good spoken English; Spanish would be an advantage (desirable)
