To create a magical and memorable Christmas experience for children and families attending Santa's Dinner and Santa's Sunday Lunch. The role holder will act as Santa Claus, engaging warmly with children of all ages, encouraging festive excitement, listening to Christmas wishes, participating in photo opportunities, and contributing to an exceptional guest experience while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and customer service.

1. Responsible for helping to maintain a customer-focused culture which support the values expressed in the Collection's Purpose, Vision and Values and the Collection's business goals of profitability and service quality.
2. Establishes and maintain effective and positive relationships within the team as well as other departments.
3. Complies with the Collection's Health and safety, Hygiene policies as well as all other Collection policies and procedures.
4. Report all situations that may present a danger to guests or staff immediately to the relevant people and take action to rectify the situation if possible.

5. To ensure that resources are used effectively, minimising waste to protect our environment and to reduce costs.

Participates in monthly audits and checks on all equipment to verify its location and ensure its full, safe operation.

Responsible for escalating any complaints to the Department Manager immediately, providing full details.

• Create a magical Christmas atmosphere through storytelling, conversation, and character interaction.
• Engage positively with children of all ages, ensuring every child feels special and included.
• Listen attentively to children's Christmas wishes and respond appropriately in character.
• Distribute gifts provided by the Collection in accordance with event procedures.
• Participate enthusiastically in photographs and guest interactions.
• Adapt interactions to suit different ages, personalities, and individual needs of children.
• Maintain the highest standards of guest care and uphold the reputation of The Celtic Collection at all times.

• Arrive punctually and prepared for all scheduled events.
• Remain in character throughout the guest-facing elements of the event.
• Work closely with event hosts and Food & Beverage teams to ensure the smooth running of each session.
• Follow event schedules and timings as directed by management.
• Assist in creating memorable moments and exceeding guest expectations.
• Support special Christmas activities and entertainment where required.

• Always interact with children in a professional, respectful, and appropriate manner.
• Ensure all interactions are inclusive and considerate of individual needs.
• Report any concerns regarding guest safety or welfare immediately to the Duty Manager.
• Adhere to all Collection safeguarding, health and safety, and guest service standards.

• Maintain excellent personal grooming and costume presentation throughout each shift.
• Ensure the Santa costume and accessories are kept clean, presentable, and in good condition.

Responsible for attending all required training as scheduled.

Maintains an understanding of the departmental objectives and contributes to a positive team environment, focussed on achieving the ultimate Department experience.

Is present for all briefings and debriefs conducted by the Supervisor on duty.

Contributes to the gathering of information as directed by the Department Manager including customer feedback, staff feedback, financial performance and any other as required.

Contribute to compiling periodic reports based on the checking process.

Contributes to the analysis of information gathered and in proposing changes within the department.

Supports the implementing of changes to ensure continuous innovations and improvements are made within the department.
