The role

We have a new opportunity for a Corporate lawyer at circa 6 years' PQE to join our Cardiff team as a Senior Associate. This position represents an excellent opportunity to further develop your expertise through exposure to a broad range of corporate transactional matters - including M&A, investments, joint ventures, private equity and general corporate governance work.

From the outset you will be involved in challenging technical work in support of our established client base, as well as playing your part in the growth of the practice through the development of new opportunities, supervision of junior team members, networking and client engagement. You will be provided with every resource and support needed to progress your career.

Based from our offices at One Central Square, you'll become an intrinsic part of our friendly and highly respected team - working in partnership with your Corporate colleagues in London, Thames Valley and Southampton. We operate flexible working practices which typically involve 3 days per week in the office according to business need.

About You

You will have circa 6 years' PQE and relevant corporate law experience gained with a recognised national or regional Corporate practice. You will have a proven track record or keen interest in business development and client relationship management.

Personal qualities we seek include:

  • Strong technical expertise
  • Polished interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Excellent commercial acumen
  • A commitment to exceptional client service
  • A proactive style and ability to act on your own initiative
  • A collegiate and team-playing approach
  • Strong analytical skills

The interview process will start as soon as suitable candidates have been identified.
