Nice to have
Previous law firm experience is not required. We are interested in applicants with experience in supplier management, procurement, quality management, information security, environmental management or related compliance functions. Experience gained within a professional services environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
Blake Morgan's internal Risk and Compliance team enables the firm to achieve its corporate objectives by effectively managing risk, governance and assurance across the business. The team provides high quality, accessible and timely support to colleagues and plays an important role in maintaining the firm's quality, information security and environmental standards, as well as promoting best practice and continuous improvement.
The role will involve working closely with colleagues across the business and with external suppliers to help ensure appropriate due diligence, risk assessment, supplier performance monitoring and contract management processes are in place. You will also help coordinate internal and external audits, maintain policies and procedures, monitor compliance against relevant standards and support improvement initiatives across the firm.
We are looking for a proactive and organised individual to support the team, with a particular focus on supplier management and the coordination of our quality, information security and environmental management systems, including the firm's ISO accreditations. The successful applicant will be based from our Southampton office and will be on Fixed Term Contract.
The interview process will start as soon as suitable candidates have been identified.
Blake Morgan strives to create and maintain a positive, non-discriminatory work environment. We will ensure that all applications for vacancies will be considered without discrimination against any person on the basis of race, colour, religion, disability, nationality, ethnic origin, sex, sexual orientation, age or marital status. We strive to ensure that our shortlisting and interviewing panels are diverse. Further details about our commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion can be found here.
