We are looking for an experienced, motivated and hands-on individual who is confident in their abilities, has strong leadership skills and can take initiative to ensure the smooth running of our Food & Beverage department.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Food & Beverage Manager, overseeing daily operations and ensuring our guests and members receive excellent service.

Requirements

As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will be expected to deputise for the Food & Beverage Manager in their absence, taking responsibility for the smooth running of daily operations while leading, supporting and developing the team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar supervisory role, preferably within a hotel, restaurant or events environment.

We are looking for someone who already has a solid foundation in Food & Beverage operations and is confident supervising a team, managing busy services and making decisions independently.

While full training will be provided on our hotel procedures and standards, previous supervisory experience and the ability to take initiative are essential.

Duties will include

1. Overseeing the day-to-day Food & Beverage operations, ensuring all departments run smoothly and efficiently.

2. Ensuring all team members consistently meet the hotel's product, hospitality and service standards.

3. Supervising, encouraging, training and developing the Food & Beverage team.

4. Leading shifts independently and ensuring the team is organised, prepared and working effectively.

5. Deputising for the Food & Beverage Manager in their absence, taking responsibility for operational decisions when required.

6. Ensuring all service standards are maintained throughout the restaurant, bar and function operations.

7. Handling guest feedback and complaints professionally, while empowering the team to resolve issues confidently.

8. Overseeing the setup, running and breakdown of functions, weddings, meetings and other events.

9. Ensuring all Food & Beverage areas are clean, organised and compliant with company policies and legal requirements.

10. Supporting stock control, deliveries, cash handling and daily closing procedures.

11. Ensuring opening and closing duties are completed correctly and to the required standard.

12. Working closely with other departments to ensure smooth communication and an excellent guest experience.

About the Role

This is a varied, hands-on position within a busy hotel environment, covering restaurant service, bar operations, weddings, private functions and corporate events.

We are looking for someone who can confidently take ownership of their responsibilities, lead by example and support the wider team.

This role would suit an experienced supervisor who is ready to take on responsibility from day one, while continuing to learn and develop within the business.
