A bit about the job
We're looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide exceptional support to the Managing Director of Global Corporate & Specialty (GCS) and CEO of Aviva Syndicates. Acting as a trusted partner, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of a busy executive office, managing a complex diary, coordinating priorities, and supporting the delivery of key business objectives. Working closely with the Business Manager and senior leadership team, you'll help keep the business moving at pace while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and discretion.
This is a varied and fast-paced role with exposure to senior stakeholders across Aviva. You'll coordinate leadership meetings, governance forums, Board activity, and large-scale events, while preparing briefings, tracking critical actions, and supporting business communications. You'll be someone who anticipates what's needed before it's asked, thrives in a dynamic environment, and enjoys building strong relationships across teams to deliver great outcomes.
Skills and experience we're looking for
- Proven experience supporting senior executives or C-suite leaders in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing demands.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence engaging at senior leadership level.
- Excellent judgement, discretion, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Highly adaptable and resilient, with strong attention to detail and a track record of delivering to a consistently high standard.
