HSE Support

We're seeking a proactive Health & Safety Support professional for our Barton-Upon-Humber manufacturing site, working Monday-Friday, 06:00-14:30. The role supports implementation of Safety, Health & Environment systems and ensures effective contractor control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and review Risk Assessments, Safe Working Procedures, COSHH, and Manual Handling (MAC)
• Review/approve contractor RAMS; verify competency, certifications, and licences
• Coordinate contractors, ensuring compliance with site rules, CDM Regulations, and legislation
• Deliver site inductions for contractors/visitors and ensure safety understanding
• Manage Permits to Work (PTW), including high-risk tasks
• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and behavioural observations
• Promote a positive safety culture and challenge unsafe behaviours
• Investigate incidents/near misses, identify root causes, and implement actions
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, ISO 14001/45001, and UK H&S laws
• Monitor performance and support reporting and continuous improvement
