Manufacturing Project Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Project Engineer to join our expanding Projects team, supporting our manufacturing sites across Lincolnshire and Yorkshire.

This is a hands-on, site-based role responsible for delivering engineering projects from initial planning through to installation, trials and final sign-off. You will work closely with Production, Health & Safety, contractors, suppliers and other key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and to the required standard.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00-15:30

Location: Manufacturing sites across Lincolnshire and Yorkshire

Travel: Regular travel between manufacturing sites will be required depending on project needs

Main Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee engineering projects from initial planning through to completion.
• Manage the delivery, installation, commissioning and sign-off of manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Coordinate essential services, including electrical supplies, compressed air and dust extraction systems.
• Liaise with Production, Engineering, Health & Safety teams and external contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Source suppliers, obtain quotations, raise purchase orders and coordinate contractor activities.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring work is completed safely, on time and in line with company standards.
• Conduct site inspections, chair project meetings and provide regular progress updates.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including machinery trials and installation sign-off.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement practical engineering solutions.
