As a Research Assistant, you will contribute to the development of a systematic Evidence and Gap Map identifying interventions relevant to the harms, drivers and mechanisms associated with SOENs. You will undertake key elements of the evidence synthesis, including literature searching, screening, data extraction and coding, quality appraisal, and contribute to the development of the Evidence and Gap Map and associated research outputs. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary research team within the Department of Security and Crime Science. The findings will be used to identify gaps in current evidence and promising opportunities for future intervention development, adaptation and evaluation. Internally SCS applicant only x 4 the role is hybrid, with the option to work fully remotely.

About you

You will have experience of systematic or structured evidence review methods and be confident working with academic research literature. You will have strong analytical and organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately and consistently with research protocols. You should also be able to work effectively as part of a collaborative research team and deliver high-quality work to agreed deadlines.
