About the company & team
UCL, one of the world's leading universities, is a modern, outward-looking institution based in central London. Founded in 1826 with a radical and socially engaged ethos, it continues to combine academic excellence with a commitment to society. Its strengths span all disciplines from one of Europe's largest biomedical science hubs to world-renowned centres for architecture (UCL Bartlett) and fine art (UCL Slade School). Though formally a college within the University of London, UCL operates independently with an annual turnover exceeding £800 million. The university's community includes 29 Nobel laureates and over 50,000 students, more than a third of whom come from 150 countries. UCL offers around 200 undergraduate and 400 postgraduate programmes, with nearly half of students pursuing graduate studies. Rated the UK's top research university, UCL excels across fields from biomedicine and engineering to law, social sciences, and the arts. It was the leading performer in the EU Horizon 2020 programme, is ranked Europe's most productive research university, and is the second most cited in the continent, with mathematics and statistics among its strongest disciplines.
