Knowledge, Skills and Experience

You will bring strong numerical and analytical reasoning, with demonstrable confidence interrogating, reconciling and explaining complex financial datasets using robust and repeatable methods.

You will be able to interpret detailed written requirements and apply them to incomplete, ambiguous or unfamiliar situations. Strong communication and business-partnering skills will enable you to explain difficult issues clearly, influence stakeholders and challenge assumptions respectfully.

An evidence-led and appropriately sceptical mindset is essential, alongside attention to detail, sound judgement, resilience and an instinct for completeness, traceability and control. You will also demonstrate strength in at least two of the following areas:

Finance or accounting
Business partnering
Audit or assurance
Legal or regulatory interpretation

Experience in finance, accounting, commercial finance, audit, assurance, law, regulation, compliance or a comparable analytical environment would be valuable. Practical knowledge of SQL, Python, Power BI, automation, ERP or finance systems is desirable, as is a relevant professional qualification or progress towards one.

Previous experience of the Formula One Financial Regulations is beneficial but not essential. You will need the curiosity, aptitude and learning velocity to build expertise rapidly within a complex technical and regulatory environment.
