The role

W Edinburgh is hiring a Style Supervisor (Housekeeping) to join the team! We invite you to play an integral part in bringing to life this award-winning hotel, situated in the heart of Edinburgh. With W Edinburgh winning the coveted "Scottish Hotel of the Year 2025" award, now is the perfect time to join the team and take your career to the next level.

Reporting to the Style Manager, as Style Supervisor you will play a key role in ensuring cleanliness throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, public spaces and back of house areas.

What you'll do

• Inspect guest rooms after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met

• Update the status of room cleaning in OPERA

• Prioritise the cleaning of guest rooms to ensure operational efficiency

• Be a role model within the department, assisting the team to perform their role when required

• Take ownership of guest issues and see them through to resolution

• Train Room Attendants, Public Area and Porters to become experts in their role

• Supervise the daily operation of the Style (Housekeeping) department

• Communicate and coordinate between Style, Welcome Office (Front Office) and Engineering to

ensure any guest or maintenance issues are logged and resolved

• Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety protocols

• Develop teamwork throughout your team as it grows

• Be a W brand ambassador, ensuring the brand's voice is present in your interactions with guests

and talent

Our ideal Style Supervisor is someone who has

• A keen eye for detail

• Strong organization and multi-tasking skills

• Confidence interacting with guests

• Good communication skills - both written and verbal English

• Previous experience working in five star, luxury/lifestyle hotels

• A positive mindset

• A genuine passion for working in hospitality
