Bistro & Events Supervisor

• Lead the Bistro team during service to ensure an efficient operation and that guest needs are met.
• Supervise Conference and Events, including setting up and clearing rooms, being main contact during the day, ensuring breakout areas are always refreshed
• supporting the manager with Scheduling
• Complete opening and closing duties, including set-up, checks, cleaning, and securing the bar/service areas.
• Maintain excellent standards of grooming, uniform, and professionalism across the team.
• Support stock control activities including monitoring levels, completing inventories, and ensuring correct storage/rotation practices (e.g., FIFO).
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and hygiene procedures, reporting hazards and incidents appropriately.
• Assist with training, coaching, scheduling support, and motivating the team-acting as a role model on shift.
• Handle guest feedback confidently and professionally, resolving issues in the moment where possible.
• Support effective bar operations including organisation, stock accuracy, and maintaining high standards under pressure.
• Knowledge Microsoft Office and ideally purchase systems

We are looking for a confident and guest-focused F&B Supervisor to support the smooth day-to-day running of our 3rd Floor Operations. You will lead by example on shift, ensuring our team delivers a consistently high standard of service, product quality, and presentation-creating memorable moments for every guest.

You'll be hands-on during service, supporting the team, maintaining standards and leading by example. We operate straight shifts with the majority being Evening Shifts with some Breakfast cover. Flexability is key with weekend availability essential.

• Previous experience in a Restaurant environment, ideally with supervisory or shift-leading responsibility.
• Experience in Meeting & Events is advantagous.
• Strong leadership skills with a calm, positive approach-especially during peak service.
• Excellent guest service skills and the confidence to engage with guests warmly and professionally.
• Organised, reliable, and detail-focused, with good standards around cleanliness and compliance.
• Flexibility to work a rota including evenings, weekends and public holidays (as required for hospitality operations).
