Quality Engineer
Own quality control at our London or Dallas sites, and build the inspection discipline and systems a precision factory runs on.
Quality is where a precision factory either earns its customers or loses them. This role owns quality control at our London or Dallas sites and builds the systems, standards and inspection discipline the business runs on - hands-on inspection and engineering judgment in equal measure, on parts going to aerospace, defense, energy and other critical industries.
What you'll own
The decision on whether a part ships. You will inspect parts entering QC after cleaning, running visual and dimensional checks with the right tooling, read drawings and part requirements correctly, and disposition rework and nonconforming parts. Keeping MasonOS and FlatBOM accurate is part of the job rather than admin around it, because the rest of the factory plans against what you record. Beyond the bench, you will improve the QC systems and SOPs themselves and strengthen the handoffs into and out of quality - in a factory moving this quickly, the process you inherit is rarely the one that should survive.
What you'll bring
An engineering degree or equivalent technical experience, the ability to read technical drawings confidently, and a genuine willingness to work on the floor rather than adjacent to it. Problem-solving, initiative and ownership matter most: you will often be the only person who has noticed something. Manufacturing, quality or engineering experience counts, including from an internship or co-op. Useful but not essential: metrology, inspection or QC experience, and exposure to precision manufacturing, aerospace, defense or energy. The role is on-site in London or Dallas, with real room to advance as the quality function grows.
