Production Lead

Production or manufacturing operations leadership in a high-consequence, high-rate environment - aerospace, launch vehicle, defence or similar. Direct experience scaling processes across multiple sites, not just running one. A hands-on background in machining, fabrication, sheet metal, welding or composites: you can walk the floor and know what right looks like. Useful but not essential: AS9100 fluency, multi-operator business models, and ITAR or EAR exposure. The role is based in London or Dallas, with frequent travel across the network.

Own the operating discipline of the factories: the SOPs that decide whether every site runs to the same standard of quality, safety and throughput.

Every factory in the network claims to run to standard. This role decides what the standard is, and proves whether they do. Reporting to the CEO, you own the operating discipline of Isembard factories - the standard operating procedures that determine whether every site, regardless of country, operator or product line, runs to the same quality, safety and throughput. This is not a policy-writing desk job. You will be on the shop floor, watching how work is actually done, then codifying it, training it, auditing it and improving it.

The master SOP library across the network: writing it, owning it, version-controlling it. You will extend that discipline beyond the shop floor into hiring, onboarding and workforce qualification, defining what "trained and certified to run this cell" actually means. You will design and run the training that certifies GMs, floor leads and operators before they touch production, and build a train-the-trainer model so fidelity scales without you in every factory. A recurring audit cadence across every site is yours, with findings feeding corrective action loops and certification maintenance. Where a manual SOP should become software-enforced, you brief the team building MasonOS on what good looks like.
