Here at GXO, we're recruiting for a HR Advisor to join our Sherburn-in-Elmet operation. This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00.

Working closely with the HR Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering the site's People Plan, driving colleague engagement, supporting communication strategies and providing insight through workforce analytics to help improve retention, attendance, performance and colleague experience across a large shared-user operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining people interaction with data-driven decision making and is passionate about creating an engaging and inclusive workplace culture.

  • Analyse workforce data and people metrics, identifying trends relating to attendance, turnover, retention, engagement and performance, and providing recommendations to site leadership.
  • Create and present people reports, dashboards and insights that support operational decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Support the delivery of wellbeing, diversity, inclusion and recognition initiatives that enhance the colleague experience.
  • Partner with managers across the operation to support organisational effectiveness, workforce planning and talent development activities.
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance cases, ensuring a fair and consistent approach.
  • Support key employee lifecycle activities including recruitment, onboarding, probation reviews and colleague development.

  • A genuine passion for employee engagement, culture, communications and improving colleague experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret workforce data, identify trends and make evidence-based recommendations.
  • Experience creating reports, presentations and communications for a variety of audiences.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence, challenge and build strong relationships at all levels.
