What we're looking for

Previous experience in vehicle fleet or transport administration
Knowledge of current transport legistlations covering driver's hours and vehicle maintenance legistlations
Strong MS Office skills, experience using Axscend Vehicle management system and Tachomaster
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage high volumes of data and able to meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail

The role

Join our team at GXO Sainsbury's as a Fleet Controller in our Northampton site.

You'll play a key role in keeping our transport operation running smoothly and efficiently every day. Working closely with drivers and the wider transport team, you'll help coordinate the fleet and ensure everything stays on track.

What you'll do

Work alongside the Compliance Manager and assist in the administration of a large fleet of LGV Vehicles
Ensure compliance with all company standards, policies and procedures
Input and maintain record within the Fleet Management System and other external systems
Ensure documentation is kept up to date, accessible and in good order in line with current legislation and guidelines
Manage fleet compliance, raise defect issues
Help to promote a culture of vehicle accident reporting

This is a full-time permanent role, working Monday to Friday.
