  • Creating a great recruitment and onboarding experience, while making the most of learning and development opportunities from our parent companies and external partners.
  • Keeping our people policies up to date, fair and engaging, ensuring we meet UK employment legislation and best practice.
  • Building on our culture by listening to colleague feedback, running engagement surveys and turning insights into actions that make Dealer Auction a great place to work.
  • Championing diversity and inclusion, helping everyone feel welcome, valued and able to be themselves at work.
  • Supporting managers with day-to-day people matters, coaching them through challenges and helping develop plans that get the best from their teams.
  • Bringing our people communications to life, making sure colleagues know about and can make the most of the benefits, opportunities and support available to them.
  • Bringing a good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Having experience supporting employee relations matters, including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance processes.
  • Building trusted relationships with managers and providing practical, commercially focused HR advice.
  • Staying organised, managing competing priorities and handling confidential information with care.
  • Using people data to spot trends, identify opportunities and make recommendations that support business performance.
  • Having a keen eye for detail when managing employee records, policies and HR processes.

  • Experience managing a range of employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance processes, as well as supporting organisational change and business transformation.
  • Strong coaching, influencing and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to support managers, develop their people management capabilities and build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A passion for creating a positive, inclusive workplace culture, with experience in employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, recruitment, onboarding and talent management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret people data, identify trends and recommend improvements that balance colleague needs with business performance.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and communicate clearly and confidently.
  • Experience developing and reviewing HR policies, maintaining HR systems and employee records accurately, and handling sensitive information in line with GDPR and confidentiality requirements.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, alongside HR information systems, ideally within a fast-paced and evolving business environment
