Location: London
Job Grade: P2
We seek a data-driven, strategic Programmatic & Audience Analyst to strengthen our digital offering at Channel 4. This role will develop audience strategies that optimise performance and revenue across our digital ecosystem. You will work with audience platforms, data clean rooms, ad servers and attribution solutions, while supporting the onboarding and evolution of relevant technologies. The role involves analysing patterns, delivering actionable insights, and collaborating with Sales, Data teams and external partners.
The role will also lend itself to discussion with external vendors and help support the roadmap moving forward with our CDP and Clean Room solutions. The role will help drive traction amongst the sales teams of all new data led products, whether that is across first, second, third party data or indeed a combination.
The successful candidate will also provide support to the Social Sales function and help translate audience requirements into workable targeting approaches and support selected campaign setup, delivery and reporting activities when required.
What you'll do
- Build and manage audience segments using first-, second- and third-party data.
- Design audience strategies for direct and programmatic campaigns; evaluate and optimise performance in partnership with the Operations team.
- Collaborate with the Audience Lead to streamline workflows and troubleshoot issues.
- Enhance attribution solutions and support the onboarding of new data technologies.
- Maintain strong relationships with data, platform and programmatic partners.
- Support the onboarding and ongoing management of audience, identity, clean-room, activation, attribution and measurement vendors, including requirements gathering, testing, documentation, issue resolution and service reviews.
- Develop working knowledge of key platforms across the audience ecosystem, including Snowflake and InfoSum for data collaboration, Mediarithmics for audience management, FreeWheel for activation, and Adalyser for attribution and measurement.
- Coordinate operational requirements with data and retail partners, such as Epsilon and retail media partners, supporting secure audience matching, segment activation, campaign measurement and controlled data exchange.
- Monitor platform changes, dependencies, usage and support needs, escalating technical, commercial, privacy or delivery risks to the appropriate owner.
- Drive efficiency in campaign setup and workflow processes.
- Provide light-touch support to Social Sales Account Managers by helping assess audience and targeting requirements within client briefs.
- Support selected Social campaign setup and delivery tasks, including audience configuration, quality checks and troubleshooting, working with Social Sales Operations.
- Help produce and interpret audience and campaign insights for Social Sales proposals, post-campaign reporting and internal updates.
- Contribute to clear, consistent workflows across Audience, Programmatic and Social, escalating delivery or data issues to the appropriate owner.
- Support Programmatic and Social teams when needed.
