The role

Balfour Beatty is looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our Temporary Site Services team on the Lower Thames Crossing.

This is a hands-on supervisory role supporting the safe planning and delivery of temporary electrical installations. You’ll supervise direct labour and subcontractors, coordinate resources and programmes, and carry out AP duties in line with Balfour Beatty’s Electrical Safe Systems of Work.

What you'll do

Carry out Electrical Appointed Person duties
Supervise temporary electrical installation works
Manage and coordinate direct labour and subcontractors
Support Work Package Plans, Risk Assessments and safe systems of work
Deliver Toolbox Talks and workforce briefings
Plan labour, plant and resources against the programme
Monitor progress, quality, workmanship and project milestones
Complete QA records and support Inspection and Test Plans
Identify hazards and maintain a strong focus on Zero Harm
Work closely with engineering and project teams to plan upcoming works
