This is a great job for someone who enjoys turning complex data into meaningful insights and wants to influence key commercial decisions. Whether your background is in pricing, underwriting, data science, analytics, or a related numerical discipline, this role offers the opportunity to apply your analytical skills in a highly collaborative environment. It's ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with large datasets, and using data to drive business performance and customer outcomes.

A bit about the job

As a Pricing Analyst within our UKGI Personal Lines Home team, you'll play an important role in shaping pricing strategies that deliver sustainable business growth while ensuring fair customer outcomes. Working with a wide range of data, you'll analyse performance, identify trends and opportunities, and make recommendations that influence strategic decision-making. You'll collaborate with colleagues across Pricing, Underwriting, Finance, Claims Finance, and other key stakeholders to improve business performance and support regulatory objectives. Through your analysis and insights, you'll help drive positive outcomes for one of Aviva's most significant product portfolios.

Skills and experience we're looking for

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into commercial recommendations.

  • Strong numerical and mathematical capability, with the ability to apply quantitative methods in a commercial environment.
  • Experience in pricing, underwriting, insurance, or a similar analytical discipline would be advantageous but is not essential.
