Are you an experienced Store Manager looking for your next big challenge? Join Vision Express at Nottingham Victoria Centre, one of our flagship locations, where you'll lead a team of around 25 colleagues supported by two Assistant Store Managers. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile store, influence business performance, and develop your leadership career within one of the UK's leading optical retailers.
Located nearby to our Store Support Office, the Nottingham Victoria Centre store regularly welcomes senior leaders, supports new product and service launches, and plays an important role in showcasing the very best of Vision Express. If you're an ambitious leader with aspirations towards Area Management or wider leadership opportunities, this could be the perfect next step.
• Lead, coach and develop a large retail team, creating a culture of accountability, engagement and success
• Drive exceptional customer experiences and continuously improve NPS performance
• Manage store performance, sales growth and key business objectives
• Work closely with your Assistant Store Managers to deliver operational excellence across the store
• Support colleague development, succession planning and performance management
• Ensure your store remains customer-focused, compliant and commercially successful

• Previous experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager or senior retail leader
• A strong track record of driving customer experience, NPS and commercial performance
• Experience leading large teams and creating high levels of engagement
• Confidence managing performance and developing colleagues to achieve their potential
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Ambition to progress and take the next step in your leadership career
• Optical experience is not essential

Its product range spans designer and exclusive eyewear brands, contact lenses, AI glasses such as Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta, and Nuance Audio hearing glasses, alongside services including advanced eye tests, OCT 3D eye scans and contact lens appointments. The company also operates manufacturing and lab functions, with around 250 colleagues in its Tech Centre and over 200 in its Store Support Centre.
