The role

This role is open to University of Leeds employees only.

Would you like to join a collaborative team supporting change, improvement and transformation across the University? Do you enjoy helping people solve problems, improve services and deliver meaningful change?

The Design and Continuous Improvement Service works with colleagues across the University to deliver both large-scale transformation programmes and smaller, improvement initiatives. Bringing together expertise in Continuous Improvement, Service Design and Business Analysis, we help teams understand challenges, improve services and processes, and deliver better outcomes for staff and students.

As part of a small but influential team, you will work with stakeholders across a wide range of areas, maintaining the CI network, delivering training, supporting workshops, improvement activities and change projects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience across multiple change disciplines and contribute to a diverse portfolio of improvement and transformation activity.

Support the development of a culture of Continuous Improvement and service excellence across the University by enabling colleagues to identify, deliver and sustain improvements within their own areas.

The role focuses on capability building, coaching, training, network development and sharing best practice, whilst also leading smaller-scale improvement activities and providing practical support to larger Design and Continuous Improvement projects.

The role holder will have a primary focus on Continuous Improvement but will work closely with colleagues across the Design & Continuous Improvement Service and may also contribute to service design and business analysis activities.

Please note that due to Home Office visa requirements, this role may only be suitable for first-time Skilled Worker visa applicants if they are eligible for salary concessions. For more information please visit: www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa

How you'll work

This role will be based on the university campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements
