What you'll do

We are looking for a Research Fellow who will work under the supervision of the PI Professor Katherine Twamley (TCRU, UCL) and Co-I Dr Michelle Sleed (Anna Freud Centre). You will be based in the Thomas Coram Research Unit in the Social Research Institute at UCL, working on the project 'Generation New Era: Stories'.

We are looking for someone enthusiastic about the aims of our project to work on a new and ambitious qualitative longitudinal study.

Generation New Era: Stories (GNE: Stories) is a qualitative longitudinal study embedded within the Generation New Era (GNE) cohort study. The aim of the project is to create a rich qualitative data set from a diverse sample of parents and carers that can be combined with quantitative data, providing a comprehensive overview of children's early lives in the UK. This is a unique opportunity for capturing the complex factors that shape early child wellbeing and development today.

Your application form should address all the person specification points and should clearly demonstrate how your skills and experience meet each of the criteria.

It is important that the criteria are clearly numbered and that you provide a response to each one.
