We are working with a leading Tier 1 construction contractor to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Manager to support the delivery of complex projects across Central London.

This role will take the lead on a major cut and carve and refurbishment project, ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and environmental performance throughout the construction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all EHS activities on site from pre construction through to completion.
• Provide visible leadership and promote a positive safety culture across the project.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and UK health and safety legislation.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and incident investigations.
• Support the project team with risk management, RAMS reviews and contractor management.
• Develop strong relationships with the client, supply chain and project stakeholders.
• Produce accurate EHS reports and performance metrics.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Project Health and Safety Manager on Tier 1 construction projects.
• Strong background delivering cut and carve and complex refurbishment schemes in occupied or constrained environments.
• Excellent knowledge of UK construction health and safety legislation.
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate or Diploma (or equivalent).
• Relevant membership of IOSH and working towards or holding Chartered status is desirable.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
