Pay & benefits

What you'll get

We are committed to being a truly inclusive retailer so you’ll be welcomed whoever you are and wherever you work. Around here, there’s always the chance to try something new — whether that’s as part of an evolving team or somewhere else across the business - and we take development seriously and promise to support you. We also recognise and celebrate colleagues when they go the extra mile and, where possible, offer flexible working. When you join our team, we’ll also offer you an amazing range of benefits. Here are some of them:

Starting off with colleague discount, you'll be able to save 10% on your shopping online and instore at Sainsbury's, Argos, TU and Habitat, and we regularly increase the discount to 15% at points during the year. We've also got you covered for your future with our pensions scheme and life cover. You'll also be able to share in our success as you may be eligible for a performance-related bonus of up to 10% of salary, depending on how we perform.

Your wellbeing is important to us too. You'll receive an annual holiday allowance and you can buy up to an additional week's holiday. We also offer other benefits that will help your money go further such as season ticket loans, cycle to work scheme, health cash plans, salary advance (where you can access some of your pay before pay day) as well access to a great range of discounts from hundreds of other retailers. And if you ever need it there is also an employee assistance programme.

Moments that matter are as important to us as they are to you which is why we give up to 26 weeks’ pay for maternity or adoption leave and up to 4 weeks’ pay for paternity leave.

Please see www.sainsburys.jobs for a range of our benefits (note, length of service and eligibility criteria may apply).

The role

Help turn data into decisions that shape one of Sainsbury's most strategically important supplier partnerships. Joining our new Partnership Management team, you'll help shape reporting and ways of working from the outset, supporting a partnership with a key role in improving how the business operates, driving technological change and unlocking the opportunities that AI can bring.

What you'll do

You'll bring together information from multiple teams and the supplier, turning operational, financial and service data into a clear view of how the partnership is performing. Working with Partnership Managers, you'll check data, investigate inconsistencies and identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement. Your dashboards, reports and PowerPoint presentations will do more than describe what's happened: they'll drive insights, helping people understand what matters, where action is needed and what the options are.

Alongside the analysis, you'll help keep the partnership's governance running effectively, preparing meeting packs, capturing decisions and following up actions with colleagues across Procurement, Technology and the wider business. As this is a new team, not every process or answer will already exist. You'll help develop practical reporting governance forums and ways of working, while gathering evidence on improvements and new opportunities so Partnership Managers can make informed decisions and track the value being delivered.

How you'll work

This role can be based from any of our Store Support Centres (London, Coventry or Manchester), with the rest of your time working from home. There are no set office days, with office attendance and store visits expected around once a week on average to support collaboration and business needs.

Who you are

You enjoy solving complex problems and making sense of ambiguity. You're naturally curious, able to quickly get underneath an issue and comfortable combining data, insight and different perspectives to work out what really matters. You'll ask constructive questions, challenge assumptions and use evidence to help shape practical solutions.

You're equally comfortable creating structure where it doesn't yet exist, bringing different stakeholders together and turning ideas into action. You'll build relationships across teams, influence at different levels and adapt as priorities evolve. Experience in consulting, transformation, technology, outsourcing, managed services or supplier governance would be useful. And you'll be curious about how technology and AI can create new opportunities, improve services and unlock value.
