This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy specialist service, providing senior clinical care across the breast pathway. The post holder will work as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, contributing to outpatient assessment, elective operating, peri-operative care and the ongoing development and delivery of the service.
The post will provide additional senior surgical capacity to support the service in delivering timely cancer care and increasing elective activity. - Undertaking breast outpatient clinics, including assessment and follow-up of patients.
- Contributing to elective breast operating lists and providing appropriate peri-operative and post-operative clinical care.
- Supporting the delivery of timely cancer treatment and the service's ongoing work to improve cancer pathway performance.

- Providing appropriate cross-cover for surgical activity to support continuity and effective utilisation of available theatre capacity.
- Supporting the delivery of breast surgical activity through the Surgical Elective Centre (SEC), including undertaking additional operating lists and reviewing patients within the SEC as required.
