Job overview

Oxford Centre for Enablement (OCE)

Have you considered a career in Neuro-Rehabilitation?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and compassionate Registered Nurses to join the team at the Oxford Centre for Enablement (OCE), a purpose-built Level 1B Neuro-Rehabilitation Centre.

The OCE currently provides specialist inpatient neuro-rehabilitation for adults and young people aged 16 years and over. Our 18-bed unit, funded by NHS England, supports patients from Oxfordshire and across the region following life-changing neurological injuries and conditions, including traumatic brain injury, stroke and brain tumours.

As part of an exciting service development, we are also introducing 10 Level 2 Neuro-Rehabilitation beds dedicated to Oxfordshire residents, creating a unique opportunity for nurses to gain experience across both highly specialised regional services and local rehabilitation pathways.

We are seeking motivated Band 5 Registered Nurses with Adult, Mental Health or Learning Disabilities registration who are passionate about delivering person-centred care and making a meaningful difference to patients' rehabilitation journeys.

  • A deeper understanding of the physical, cognitive, behavioural and psychological effects of acquired brain injury.
  • Experience caring for both specialist regional and local rehabilitation patient groups.
  • Access to a supportive multidisciplinary team with a strong focus on learning and professional development.
  • Opportunities for further study and continued professional development.

We Are Looking For Individuals Who
