Help us make more possible
Oxford Health Charity is entering an exciting period of growth and development, and we are looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Fundraising Manager to help us build the partnerships and philanthropic support that will make more possible for patients, carers, families and staff across Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust.
This is an opportunity to take a leading role in developing a growing NHS charity's high value fundraising programme. Working closely with the Head of Charity, you will help shape our approach to philanthropy and build sustainable income across trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, major donors, legacies and other high-value opportunities.
Our charitable funding supports projects and opportunities that go beyond what NHS core funding can provide - from better environments and experiences for patients, carers and families, to supporting our people and helping new ideas, research and innovation get off the ground.
Main duties of the job
As Senior Fundraising Manager, you will be our lead specialist for high-value fundraising and philanthropy.
You will develop a strong pipeline of prospective funders and supporters, identify new funding opportunities and turn the Charity's priorities into compelling propositions capable of securing significant investment.
You will:
• develop and deliver plans to grow sustainable restricted and unrestricted fundraising income;
• lead our trusts, foundations and grant fundraising programme;
• develop strategic corporate partnerships, sponsorship and other opportunities with businesses;
• identify, cultivate and steward major donors and philanthropic supporters;
• develop our approach to high-value legacy giving;
• create compelling cases for support, funding applications and partnership
propositions;
• work with clinical and operational colleagues to turn ideas and priorities into fundable projects;
• build and manage a strong fundraising pipeline, providing clear forecasts and
performance information; and
• support the development of significant future appeals and capital fundraising opportunities.
You will also play an important role in strengthening fundraising capability across the Charity, bringing expertise, ideas and a commercial mindset to how we identify opportunities and build long-term supporter relationships.
