Salary: £31,050 per annum (Term-Time Only, 39 weeks per year)
Full-Time Equivalent (FTE): £41,400 per annum

Birchwood School is seeking an experienced, organised and proactive School Operations Manager to join our senior leadership team. This is a key role at the heart of our school, ensuring our operational functions run smoothly and effectively so that our pupils receive the highest quality educational experience.

We are looking for a skilled leader with experience managing school operations, administration, compliance, facilities and people processes. Working closely with the Head of School and wider leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the strategic and day-to-day success of the school.

As School Operations Manager, you will provide leadership across a wide range of operational areas, including:

• School administration and data management
• HR administration, recruitment and onboarding
• Facilities and premises management
• Health and safety compliance
• Financial administration and budget monitoring
• Information management and GDPR compliance
• Catering and cleaning services
• Support for inspections, audits and regulatory requirements

You will manage and develop support staff across multiple functions, ensuring high standards, efficiency and regulatory compliance throughout the school.
