Fares, Ticketing & Retail team
Britain's railways must deliver for passengers now and in the future. That's why the government and the rail industry are delivering a programme of reforms to make rail easier to buy and use:
We're not waiting. As we become Great British Railways, a programme of reform is already making rail easier to buy and use, helping rebuild trust in rail and encouraging more people to travel by train.
We're looking for a Product Manager to join us on this journey, using your experience with digital products we need you to lead on the specification, prioritisation, and design of new digital industry products.
This is your opportunity to be the voice of the user, using your data-driven insights to own the strategy and design of key digital products that relate to fraud reduction and revenue protection. You'll build strong relationships with industry partners such as Train Operating Companies and Retailers, working with them and communicating our story of the products being developed as well as influencing key stakeholders such as the Department for Transport and Rail Delivery Group
We're looking for people who are prepared to roll their sleeves up and take ownership, making it their place to make informed decisions, and get things done. We need to work together as an industry to design solutions that make things better for our customers, so we're looking for people who can build great relationships and integrate with colleagues across the sector. We have a unique chance to change things for the better, and so embracing opportunity, using innovative and creative thinking - with a dose of healthy challenge - is critical to us. We're driven by a passion to deliver for our customers and our colleagues, so people who show they care deeply about their work and for their colleagues are the kind we love and are looking for!
This role is available on a permanent basis or via industry Secondment.
We're an inclusive employer of choice and welcome applications from everyone. For this specific role, there is an expectation to be able to come to our London or Derby office for a minimum of two days per week. We encourage people to work flexibly and we're open to hybrid working! We'll also try our best to adapt the recruitment process and offer a reasonable alternative to help support people with disabilities.
*If you're working within the rail industry and considering applying via a Secondment, we encourage you to have a conversation with your line manager early in the process to support a potential secondment into FTR and where successful to support your release.
