What you'll be doing

As a Senior Product Manager within Business Products, you'll take a leading role in the development and ultimate delivery of complex plans to simplify the existing Virgin Money and Nationwide business product suites.

  • A clear understanding of product and proposition development across the full product lifecycle
  • Demonstrated ability to put customers at the heart of decision-making, using insight to shape products and journeys
  • Experience of product performance management, including the use of key performance metrics to identify customer behaviours and trends
  • Exceptional understanding of the UK banking market, business banking specific experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of the UK regulatory environment, including Consumer Duty and its impact on product design and delivery
  • Experience leading or contributing to change initiatives within a complex organisation
  • Proven commercial acumen, including experience managing customer value, income engagement and retention in a regulated banking environment

  • growing balances, fee income, customer acquisition, activation, engagement, retention and market share in a regulated banking environment

  • Strong cross-functional leadership, with the ability to align Product, Digital, Technology, Operations, Coverage, Risk, Finance and Transformation around shared customer and commercial outcomes

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence representing Business Products internally and adapting complex messages for senior, technical and customer-facing audiences

Our customer first behaviours put customers and members at the heart of how we work together. They are the set of behaviours that every colleague needs to display, in every role:

  • Feel what customers feel - We step into our customers' shoes, using their feedback and insights to empathise with them and to understand their needs, so that every decision we make starts and finishes with our customers in mind

  • Say it straight - We are brave in speaking out and saying what we think - we're honest and direct with good intent, openly sharing diverse perspectives to reach the best conclusions and using language everyone can understand

  • Push for better - We don't settle for mediocrity, we challenge the status quo, taking responsibility for continuous improvement and personal development

  • Get it done - We prioritise what will have the greatest impact, we are decisive, and we take accountability for delivering brilliant customer outcomes

You can strengthen your application by showing how our customer first behaviours resonate with you, and where you may have already demonstrated these.
