The role

What you'll be doing

You'll lead dependency management across the Business Banking Integration Programme, ensuring critical dependencies between technology, business readiness, migration, testing, controls, operating model and supplier workstreams are clearly identified, owned, baselined and actively managed.

You'll work with delivery leads to validate dependency commitments, assess impact on key milestones and critical path, and ensure emerging risks or blockers are escalated with clear actions, options and decisions required. You'll produce concise, outcome-focused dependency reporting for senior stakeholders, showing ownership, delivery exposure, unresolved blockers and intervention required to protect Market Launch.

About you

As a minimum requirement, you'll have:

  • Proven experience managing complex dependency landscapes across large-scale technology and business change programmes
  • Understanding of dependency management, milestone control, critical path analysis, RAID governance and the impact of dependency movement on delivery plans
  • Ability to translate complex cross-team activity into clear dependency maps, ownership models, delivery commitments, acceptance criteria and evidence requirements
  • Experience working across technology, business readiness, controls, testing, migration, operating model and supplier teams to manage interdependent delivery commitments
  • Ability to challenge capability, with confidence to test assumptions, expose weak commitments and drive clarity where ownership, decisions or delivery evidence are unclear
  • Experience in producing concise, accurate and decision-focused materials for governance forums, including dependency reporting, blocker analysis, escalation packs and recovery actions
  • Good understanding of project governance, RAID management, dependency management, change control, business readiness and implementation planning, with judgement on when issues require senior intervention

Our customer first behaviours put customers and members at the heart of how we work together. They are the set of behaviours that every colleague needs to display, in every role:

  • Feel what customers feel - We step into our customers' shoes, using their feedback and insights to empathise with them and to understand their needs, so that every decision we make starts and finishes with our customers in mind

  • Say it straight - We are brave in speaking out and saying what we think - we're honest and direct with good intent, openly sharing diverse perspectives to reach the best conclusions and using language everyone can understand

  • Push for better - We don't settle for mediocrity, we challenge the status quo, taking responsibility for continuous improvement and personal development

  • Get it done - We prioritise what will have the greatest impact, we are decisive, and we take accountability for delivering brilliant customer outcomes

You can strengthen your application by showing how our customer first behaviours resonate with you, and where you may have already demonstrated these.
