The role
What you'll be doing
In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives, ensuring the team remains aligned and focused on delivering value. You will support the delivery of Data Lake features, reporting requirements and platform enhancements, working closely with teams across Finance, Data Engineering, Technology and Change to coordinate activity, manage dependencies and help remove delivery blockers.
The role requires organisation and stakeholder management skills, with responsibility for maintaining clear delivery plans, actions, risks, issues and decisions. You will build effective relationships with key stakeholders, providing clear and timely updates on progress, achievements and challenges. Alongside delivery responsibilities, you will help drive continuous improvement within the team by strengthening ways of working and delivery discipline, while also supporting and developing a direct report through regular coaching, feedback and day-to-day guidance.
About you
The minimum requirements for this role are:
Experience working in an Agile delivery environment, with a good understanding of Scrum principles
Hands-on Jira experience, including boards, backlogs, workflows and reporting
Comfortable working with ambiguity, well organised with good communication and stakeholder management skills
Confidence coordinating activity across several teams and resolving blockers collaboratively
Some experience supporting, coaching or developing another colleague
Experience in Financial Services, Data, Reporting or Change delivery would be helpful, but is not essential
Our customer first behaviours put customers and members at the heart of how we work together. They are the set of behaviours that every colleague needs to display, in every role:
Feel what customers feel - We step into our customers' shoes, using their feedback and insights to empathise with them and to understand their needs, so that every decision we make starts and finishes with our customers in mind
Say it straight - We are brave in speaking out and saying what we think - we're honest and direct with good intent, openly sharing diverse perspectives to reach the best conclusions and using language everyone can understand
Push for better - We don't settle for mediocrity, we challenge the status quo, taking responsibility for continuous improvement and personal development
Get it done - We prioritise what will have the greatest impact, we are decisive, and we take accountability for delivering brilliant customer outcomes
You can strengthen your application by showing how our customer first behaviours resonate with you, and where you may have already demonstrated these.
