The role

ROLE: Multi Skilled Technician
At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We're looking for a Multi Skilled Technician to provide mobile facilities maintenance support across Network Rail sites in the Manchester area.
What you'll do
- Carry out planned maintenance tasks including fire alarm testing, emergency lighting testing, water hygiene checks and meter readings.
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests and complete minor fabric, plumbing and decorating repairs.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, RAMS and permit documentation.
- Support other engineering trades and undertake additional training where required.
- Deliver excellent customer service whilst ensuring compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
How you'll work
HOURS: 08:00 - 17:00 (Flexibility required)
LOCATION: Network Rail Sites, Manchester
Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.
- Experience in building maintenance, handyperson, facilities or janitorial duties.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements within a building environment.
- Knowledge of statutory building compliance and safe systems of work.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to accurately record work using worksheets and computer-based systems.
