Customs Import Administrator

What you will enjoy doing

• In this role you will ensure compliance with all applicable customs, laws, regulations, and company policies
• You will assist with reviewing, and maintaining import and export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and customs declarations
• Further, you will work closely with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure seamless movement of customer shipments
• Supporting customs audits and compliance reviews by maintaining organised records will be part of the role
• You will maintain and update records relating to import and export transactions
• Further, you will liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, carriers, and brokers regarding clearance requirements

What makes you great

• You have previous administration experience, preferably within logistics, supply chain, import/export, customer service, or a related business environment
• You have strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders rounds up your profile
• Knowledge of export compliance requirements and export licensing processes and experience within logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, customs or international trade environment is desirable
• You are able to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines
• Basic understanding of UK customs regulations, import procedures and international trade documentation is desirable

Salary range: £30,000 - £35,000
