What we're looking for

  • Experience building and launching products used by real customers.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment with significant ownership.

  • Startup, founding engineer or early-stage experience.
  • Product analytics and experimentation tooling (e.g. PostHog, Amplitude, Mixpanel).
  • Experience building creator, media or AI-driven products.
  • Portfolio showcasing product, UX or interface design work.

What you'll do

We're partnering with a high-growth AI startup looking for a Lead Product Engineer to take ownership of a new customer-facing product from launch through to scale.

This role sits at the intersection of product, design, and engineering, offering the chance to shape strategy, build features end-to-end, and influence the future direction of both the product and team.

  • Owning the product end-to-end across frontend, APIs and data models.
  • Building intuitive AI-powered user experiences.
  • Driving roadmap decisions through user feedback, analytics and experimentation.
  • Improving onboarding, engagement and conversion through data-driven product development.
  • Setting standards for product quality, UX and engineering best practice.
  • Working closely with founders and cross-functional teams to bring new ideas to market.

What We're Looking For

  • Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs or AI-powered products.
