Data Scientist in London

This is an opportunity to join a specialist analytics consultancy on a high-impact insurance analytics project. You'll play a key role in developing predictive models and customer segmentation frameworks that directly support commercial decision-making, working with rich first-party customer and transactional data from day one.

• Build customer segmentation and clustering models to identify meaningful customer groups.
• Develop propensity models and predictive analytics solutions to support business decision-making.
• Forecast customer behaviour and future customer value using advanced modelling techniques.
• Analyse motor and home insurance customer journeys, quote behaviour, and conversion patterns.
• Design a core segmentation framework with multiple supporting sub-segmentations.
• Package and document models for deployment and handover to engineering teams.

London | Outside IR35 £500-560 per day| 2-months

• Strong experience delivering customer segmentation and clustering projects using unsupervised learning techniques.
• Demonstrated capability in propensity modelling, predictive modelling, and forecasting.
• Strong Python and SQL skills for data preparation, analysis, and model development.
• Experience working within Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric environments.
• Comfortable developing solutions in notebook-based analytics environments.
• Experience within insurance, customer analytics, pricing analytics, retention, acquisition, churn modelling, customer lifetime value, or quote conversion analysis.
• Ability to work autonomously and quickly contribute within a fast-paced contract engagement.
