The role

Here at GXO, we are looking for a Warehouse Systems Controller to join our team on our Nestle Purina contract in Hams Hall, Birmingham. You will be responsible for the maintenance and management of the warehouse management system and its associated hardware, as well as GXO systems and hardware. You'll support the operation by resolving system issues efficiently and effectively to reduce any operational downtime, whilst also supporting the operation in resolving systematic issues.

What you'll do

Ensure the site systems are running efficiently and where possible reduce system down time
Coordinate the successful and continuous interfaces between the warehouse management system and the customers ERP system
Updating location sequences to support integrations of new season inventory
Carry out security backups of hardware and software systems
Take an active role in crisis situations, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems
