Warehouse Operative in Peterborough

Here at GXO we're looking to recruit Warehouse Operatives to join our Tesco team based in Peterborough, PE1 4YT.

• Safely load and unload supplier and customer vehicles, ensuring accuracy of stock and reporting any discrepancies
• Operate across warehouse activities including tray washing, flower bucket washing, and baling cardboard and plastic for recycling
• Complete all tasks in line with Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), maintaining high standards of health and safety
• Accurately complete required paperwork and utilise Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) where trained and authorised
• Undertake a variety of physical warehouse duties, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and supporting general warehouse operations as directed

This is a full-time, permanent position. You'll be working on a rotating days and nights, 4 on 4 off shift pattern, covering the hours between 06:00-18:00 and 18:00-06:00

• Experience of operating MHE (FLT, PPT, LLOP) is highly advantageous
• Experience working in a warehouse setting
• Good levels of communication, both written and verbal and to work cohesively and well with others

• Demonstrate reliability and professionalism through strong attendance, positive behaviours, flexibility, and consistent performance standard
