You'll lead its establishment, licensing, mobilisation and growth, setting the strategy and operating model and building the team that will run it long term. • Act as principal interface with Ofgem, code bodies and key industry stakeholders

  • Set the strategy, target operating model and commercial framework

  • Own delivery of licensing, accession and operational-readiness outcomes

  • Develop relationships with ICPs, developers, customers and strategic partners

  • Build and lead the enduring iDNO team

  • Own business performance, governance, budget and material risks

About you
  • Significant senior leadership experience in electricity networks, DNO, iDNO, ICP or regulated infrastructure

  • Strong working knowledge of Ofgem regulation and electricity industry arrangements

  • A track record of launching, scaling or transforming a regulated business or function

  • Credible commercial leadership and senior stakeholder management

  • The ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial start-up environment within a large group

  • A visible, credible industry leader who combines regulatory authority, commercial drive and the practical judgement needed to build a new business

  • Operational readiness achieved

  • Commercial pipeline established

  • Accountable team embedded

What's on offer
  • A rare opportunity to lead the creation of a new regulated business from day one

  • Founding leadership position, with the freedom to shape strategy, structure and team

  • The stability and resources of a major energy group entering a new market

  • Flexible UK working, with travel as required

Salary: 150K GBP/yr - 200K GBP/yr
